Christian is a largely recovered singer-songwriter who made sense of his past by becoming a freelance music journalist and critic for "Marketplace," "Day to Day," and other public radio shows. He first joined KCRW as a producer for the one-and-only Warren Olney on "Which Way L.A.?" and "To the Point." He also worked with host Madeleine Brand and the crew of "Press Play." In 2019 he helped manage the launch of "Greater LA," hosted by Steve Chiotakis, which is where you'll find him today. Christian's work has received awards from the LA Press Club and the Radio and Television News Association of Southern California. He's a transplant from northern climes, and he loves to watch winter sports (Heia Norge!) and the Premier League.
